Fireplug installation & initiation

October 29, 2015

So we got this great old fireplug donated to us by the Olesons in Noxon.  Got it cleaned up and repainted nice and red....and today we "planted" it in the middle of the flower ring just outside the fence.  Thank you, once again, to Don Manning for transporting and doing most of the heavy lifting.  Char and her crew dug the hole for it.  Now we have to come up with a commemorative sign for it telling the dogs it's okay to pee there (and telling firefighters it's "non-functional." ) Stay tuned for a fireplug sign contest!

Oh.....we also got a yellow fireplug donated by the City.  That one will sit inside the fence, and we'll hit it with some fresh yellow paint in the spring when the temperatures are friendlier.
